ExpoPlatform appoints new Chief Growth Officer

Event technology provider ExpoPlatform has announced its new chief growth officer to help drive expansion through sales.

Abbie Michaelson is a widely accomplished executive with more than 30 years of experience in industries undergoing strong digital transformation, including as international general manager for Cvent.

This latest appointment comes after a raft of new employees and high-profile deals for the Cambridge-based company.

Abbie said: “I am thrilled to join ExpoPlatform at this exciting time in its growth journey. I look forward to working with so many expert colleagues and incredible customers to achieve our ambitious growth plans.”

His tenure at Cvent saw Abbie responsible for supervising the merger with Lanyon – which encompassed StarCite, Wingate Web – and other components.

He also focused on managing the integration process while achieving an increase in billed revenues.
