Frankfurt Book Fair partners ExpoPlatform for event tech
Frankfurt Book Fair has embarked on a new chapter after introducing ExpoPlatform as its event tech provider.
The show is the largest of its kind in the world and is considered the most important for international deals and trading.
ExpoPlatform will now provide its market-leading digital solutions to build valuable connections and boost the experience for participants.

This is being kickstarted by the launch of Frankfurt Connect, which will provide a “digital backbone” for the tradeshow’s community.
Juergen Boos, Director of Frankfurter Buchmesse, said: “What do we want at Frankfurter Buchmesse?
“We want to exchange ideas across national borders. We want to present our offerings. We want to revitalize old contacts and forge new business relationships.
“From now on, we will also support all these aims digitally: with Frankfurt Connect as the digital backbone for our community.”
Tanya Pinchuk, CEO of ExpoPlatform, said: “This collaboration marks the mixture of tradition and modernity, where the timeless power of words meets cutting-edge event experience.
“We believe this is the beginning of a long-lasting partnership story between the two of us.”
ExpoPlatform is an event technology provider which operates globally and is trusted by world-leading organizers for its innovative and reliable solutions.
This is the first time the company has worked with the book fair, which takes place at Messe Frankfurt in the German city between October 16 and 20.
Services made available at the launch of Frankfurt Connect include:
– New presentation and interaction options for exhibitors
– Networking features for recommendations, suitable new contacts and more
– Digital business card for networking on site
– Interactive floor plan
Ann-Kristin Oestreicher, Senior Marketing Manager at Frankfurter Buchmesse, added: “We have reached the first milestone on our mission to extend our customers’ trade fair presence into the digital world.
“From now on, we will continue to develop our platform together with our users. True to the motto: Frankfurt Connect connects.”
Meanwhile, ExpoPlatform has already solidified its ambition in the region having appointed its DACH director Jens Schindler to drive digital growth in the market.
