The report highlighted a strong recovery in the exhibition industry, with the combined 2023 revenue of the top 20 organizers increasing by 47% year-on-year.

This growth was driven by most organizers achieving double-digit revenue increases, with the exception of some biennial events.

While the top three remained stable, the remainder of the top 20 rankings saw significant shifts – indicating a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.

Notably, organizers with significant exposure to the Chinese market climbed back to earlier positions, fuelled by the strong recovery of the Chinese exhibition market.

CloserStill also made notable gains, moving up six spots to 14th, while dmg events re-entered the list after a two-year absence.
