The ongoing uncertainty around business travel restrictions within Asia compelled the organisers to incorporate a digital component in the Pet Fair Beijing 2021 live event to cater an international audience.
The second edition of the Pet Link Asia would serve as the virtual counterpart of the overall hybrid experience in May 2021. This would also be followed by another hybrid event in Shanghai in September-October 2021. Thus, the need for a strong virtual platform weighed heavily on organisers to meet their new schedule and goals for the year.
For Pet Fair Beijing, a strong matchmaking functionality became pivotal to connect the international product, procurement and sourcing managers with top pet industry suppliers from all over Asia. The results
The highly anticipated Pet Fair Beijing successfully concluded at the Beijing National Convention Center. The virtual content shared during the Pet Fair Link managed to grab the attention of over 200,000 global buyers, with the cumulative web views exceeding 1 million.
