
Challenges faced by the organisers
The success of the PGA 2021 Merchandise Show prompted organisers to launch a year-round hybrid experience to connect and strengthen the global golf community. PGA Show Connects was envisioned as an extension of the PGA Show, with regular webinars, educational content, and seasonal events planned throughout 2021, leading to the return of the flagship in-person show in 2022. To support this 365 experience, the organisers had to manage a robust marketplace of new and returning exhibitors, as well as provide industry networking and educational content to the attendees.
Additionally, the PGA Show Buying & Education Summit was added to the schedule to provide PGA professionals and golf buyers with focused face-to-face business interactions, education workshops, and networking opportunities. A strong on-site hosted buyer programme, as well as registration, badging, and check-in services, were necessary for this initiative.
