IMEX teams up with isla to launch free events carbon tracking tool
IMEX has announced a free Event Carbon Measurement Starter Pack developed in collaboration with TRACE by isla.
Set for release in September 2024, this tool is expected to address the need for environmental accountability in the events industry.

Clarion Events North America promotes Narisa Wild to Chief Digital Officer
Clarion Events North America has announced the promotion of Narisa Wild to the position of Chief Digital Officer.
The appointment comes after Narisa’s one-year tenure with the company as senior vice president of digital strategy and products, during which she significantly advanced Clarion’s digital initiatives.
Narisa has been recognized for her outstanding leadership skills, focus on customer needs and innovative approach to digital strategy.
Her efforts have been crucial in driving Clarion Events North America’s digital transformation forward.
Emerald’s online marketplace launches Shopify app
Bulletin, the online wholesale marketplace owned by Emerald Holding, Inc., has unveiled a new Shopify sales channel app.
This integration aims to simplify product management and order processing for brands using both platforms.

- Automated product importing from Shopify to Bulletin, including bulk uploads and automatic syncing of updates and new items.
- Real-time inventory synchronization to prevent overselling and maintain accurate stock levels across both platforms.
- Seamless order transfer from Bulletin to Shopify, centralizing fulfillment processes.
This integration is expected to save time for vendors and improve their ability to manage multi-channel sales effectively. By automating previously manual tasks, the app allows businesses to focus more on growth and customer service.
AEO elevates internal talent
The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has announced two key internal promotions in its projects and marketing divisions.
Lauren Petchell will now be the head of projects, while Emily Weall steps up to marketing manager.
Lauren will continue leading sustainability initiatives, managing working groups and supporting AEO’s event portfolio in her new role.
CEO Chris Skeith said: “Lauren has truly excelled in her role here at AEO. Her leadership and dedication have been nothing short of outstanding.
“She’s built fantastic relationships with our members, and it’s clear by the way our working groups have thrived since she joined.

Meanwhile, Weall will develop and execute marketing plans for AEO initiatives, lead event marketing, manage multi-channel content and analyze data for growth opportunities.
