Content Writer
Responsibilities
– Copywriting. Strong storytelling skills and authoritative voice with responsibility for writing sales
materials, awards entries, and other marketing copy;
– Social media marketing. Grow our social media following by creating proactive and reactive posts
daily using a range of formats;
– Email marketing. Create engaging emails to nurture and activate our database, testing content to
different target audiences and optimizing delivery;
– SEO-optimized content. Create compelling, well-optimized content to maximize audience
engagement and drive higher conversions and performance outcomes;
– Measurement and optimization of campaigns to generate better results;
– Help define brand voice and ensure that all copy is consistent with this voice by writing, editing, and
proofing materials;
– Coordinating with Graphic Designers to create graphics/illustrations for product features.
Skills and Experience:
– 3+ years of experience in copywriting or journalism;
– Understanding of demand generation, including the use of marketing automation and CRM tools;
– Strong project management skills;
– Understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and search intent;
– Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills;
Nice to have
– Background working in IT or tech event domain will be a plus;
– Strong written and spoken English, other languages a bonus;
– Experience working with WordPress will be a bonus.
