In this role, you will manage API integration projects for our global event platform. You will work with show organizers, customers, and partners to create new API integrations and enhance existing ones in line with customer-specific requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with the API team and broader technical team to ensure seamless integration.
As part of the team, you will elicit requirements, brainstorm solutions, and collaborate on all phases of the project, including scoping, data mapping, development, testing, and implementation. You will also provide support during live events and perform post-implementation reviews.

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers and partners to deliver technical architecture and troubleshoot any issues that arise to ensure accurate, compliant, high-quality data delivery.
  • Evaluate integration possibilities, advise on scope and feasibility, and review technical API architectures, security requirements, and development specifications.
  • Manage the prioritization and timeline of integration projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Deliver integrations that simplify the customer experience and automate data delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain clear documentation of integration capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Implement processes to ensure smooth and effective integration rollouts.
  • Provide timely support to clients using or seeking integrations, and communicate opportunities for improvements to the development team.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience with API integrations, including data mapping, software integration engineering, and technical project management.
  • Compliance: Understanding of GDPR and information security protocols.
  • Client Management: Experience communicating with clients to address technical concerns and requirements.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Postman, authentication protocols, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with web-based user interfaces (HTML, CSS, URLs, URL parameters).
  • Working knowledge of PHP, SQL, and IQL.
  • Ability to develop and implement scripts to streamline and automate basic workflows, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
