universal badge scanning

We are excited to introduce our latest product update that will be a gamechanger for lead retrieval at your events.

With Universal Badge Scanning, you can capture the contact details of attendees at different colocated events.

This means if you don’t have the same registration providers for your events, say Show A and Show B, even then you can scan and save the details of different visitors at these two shows.

In addition, you can also enable visitors to scan any QR/bar code with the mobile event app. These scans can be outside of your events or not related to any event.

Badge Scanning of visitors from EP colocated shows under same Environment

cross event scanning

A visitor can scan any ExpoPlatform account badge inside one database/environment, using an in-app scanner.

Such scans will be sent, saved, and stored in my scan list as usual scans from current event but with an indication on card, that will mention that this scan is from the other event

Please note: – There won’t be any networking options just, but it will be just capturing in scanned list & export of leads.

Admin panel Setting

Please go to Event setup>>networking &  matchmaking >>contact sharing tab

Turn on the toggle Allow users to scan badges from collocated events

Badge scanning of visitors from colocated shows outside of EP or any QR/Bar Codes

any badge scanning

A visitor can scan any QR code using our in-app scanner.

Such scanned codes that have no relation to platform data will be just saved and stored in database, without any additional information like account info and/or additional questions from lead retrieval functionality.

Please note: – Such scans will be sent, saved, and stored in my scan list as usual scans from current event but with an indication on card, that will mention that this scan is from the other event

Admin panel Setting

Please go to Event setup>>networking &  matchmaking >>contact sharing tab

Turn on the toggle Allow users to scan any codes
