US Account Executive – Event Technology

ExpoPlatform is a UK-based company founded in 2013 and currently provides service in more than 30 countries. ExpoPlatform`s technology is a complete Networking and Matchmaking and a turnkey Event Management System for online, hybrid, and in-person events. The platform provides a suite of solutions for event organizers (including registration, attendee management, event website builder, conference/session/speaker management, floor plan, and venue management) as well as a user-friendly social media type of networking for attendees (delegates, exhibitors/sponsors/speakers) along with video calls in online rooms and mobile apps.

Responsibilities we will trust you with:

  • New business prospecting and lead generation (Social Selling, Email, Phone);

  • Sales strategy and planning, providing regular forecasts using CRM;

  • Helping to refine product proposition to enter new markets (Exhibitions, Associations, Corporate events);

  • Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts;

  • Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base;

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships;

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

Skills we would like you to bring to the team:

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets

  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Self-motivated and determined with a track record in delivering new business;

  • In-depth understanding of the event industry and experience in working with key associations ( Event related )

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, remote working environment;

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work with people at all levels within the company  and in particular senior management;

  • Credible in explaining technology solutions, simply;

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. Able to analyze, interpret, draw conclusions, and implement solutions on a variety of complex issues;

  • Strong communication skills ( Native American English accent is compulsory ) both written and verbal with customers and colleagues;

  • Experience with managing teams.
