Location: Hybrid/Remote/Cambridge, UK
Hours: Full Time, 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday

We are hiring a talented Sales Executive professional to join our team.

Responsibilities for Sales Executive

  • Promote and sell ExpoPlatform Smart Events solutions to potential clients, identifying new leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating and closing deals
  • Call on and develop relationships with new prospects in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations
  • Run consultative sales building knowledge-based trust with a prospect, researching customer needs and offering relevant solutions
  • Exceed established new business revenue targets 
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report, monitor and report sales activity within the system
  • Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities
  • Work with Account Management and Client Strategy teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with ExpoPlatform product and organization
  • Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown

Qualifications for Sales Executive

  • 3 years or more of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the exhibition industry / event management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with extensive public speaking experience
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member – Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
  • Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate
  • Flexibility to travel for in-person meetings and events
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
