About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Data Science team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables by executing comprehensive testing strategies and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and designers.
Role Responsibilities:
Analyze project documentation to understand business and technical requirements
Perform functional and non-functional testing (web, mobile, agentic services)
Test API endpoints and data flows within services managed by DS team
Test frontend and backend processes during interactions with DS services
Validate prompt responses, agent workflows, and conversation logic
Identify inconsistencies, hallucinations, or undesired behaviors in LLM outputs
Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and UX designers to improve AI reliability and user satisfaction.
Conduct performance and latency testing for AI model inference and responses.
Conduct product regression and release testing
Identify, document, and track software bugs
Provide clear reporting on testing progress and results
Participate in planning, decomposition, and refinement
Stay up-to-date with LLM capabilities, limitations, benchmarking, quality metrics and testing tools
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing
Hands-on experience testing AI systems, chatbots, or LLM-based tools
Familiarity with prompt engineering and model evaluation techniques
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in API testing and using REST client tools
Familiarity with HTML, XML, SQL, and web technologies
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools
Advanced English level (C1)
Would a Plus:
Languages: French, German, Spanish
Knowledge of programming basics and automation
Experience with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Selenium)
Experience with AWS, GIT, and test plans
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
