Product Owner

About Us ExpoPlatform is a UK-based event technology company founded in 2013, powering in-person, hybrid, and virtual events across 30+ countries. Our platform provides end-to-end solutions for event organizers — from registration and attendee management to networking, matchmaking, and analytics. As we continue to scale globally, we’re looking for a driven and user-focused Product Owner to bridge product strategy and delivery within a cross-functional engineering team.

About the Role You’ll own the product backlog and vision for your team’s area, working closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and ship valuable features. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with day-to-day execution — you’ll be the glue between the roadmap and the team delivering it.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product backlog: grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning
• Write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
• Lead sprint ceremonies: planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
• Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable development tasks
• Remove blockers for the team and validate delivered solutions
• Gather and analyze user feedback, product metrics, and KPIs
• Coordinate with other product teams and align with business objectives
• Present product demos and communicate progress to stakeholders

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS or B2B environment
• Strong ability to manage backlogs and deliver features in Agile teams
• Experience writing clear user stories and technical documentation
• Solid communication skills across cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Figma
• Ability to understand and discuss technical and UX trade-offs
• English: Upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to Have

• Experience in event technology or marketplace platforms
• Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• Background in UX/UI or technical development
