IMEX Frankfurt 2025 marked the third edition of IMEX Group’s flagship event delivered in partnership with ExpoPlatform. Over three years, the collaboration has shaped one of the most digitally advanced experiences in the global meetings and events industry.

The event saw a 10% increase in confirmed meetings compared to the previous year. Engagement also continued to rise across key metrics, with notable growth in badge scans, conversations and exhibitor interactions.

The Challenge

IMEX Group set out to:

ExpoPlatform was responsible for building on the success of previous editions. The aim was to refine platform features and improve user experience.

ExpoPlatform’s Solution

IMEX Frankfurt 2025 featured the most advanced version of the ExpoPlatform solution to date.

The platform included:

  • A new “Rate Your Meetings” feature to allow attendees to leave notes and export them as leads
  • Full mobile parity with the web platform for agenda planning, search and lead exports
  • A “Recommended for You” section in the exhibitor directory to simplify discovery
  • Revamped integrations with ExpoFP for interactive floorplan and CrowdConnected for indoor wayfinding
  • Lead scanning tools built into both mobile and web workflows

  • Badge scans totaled over 100,000
  • Favourites reached more than 74,000
  • Attendees used the meeting rating feature to capture lead quality and track ROI
