Easyfairs launches new pop culture integrated event

Event organizer Easyfairs is uniting three of its leading pop culture shows under one brand.

GameForce, Heroes Comic Con and Made in Asia will be combined into one large integrated platform.

Heroes World will build on the strong foundation laid by these shows and provide a renewed visitor experience.

Anne Lafere, co-CEO of Easyfairs, said: “The evolution of Heroes Comic Con, Made in Asia and GameForce into the unified festival Heroes World will redefine what a pop culture event should be.”

The three events collectively drew +60,000 attendees last year.

Easyfairs plans to capitalize on this success by providing a clear, unified thematic structure and program that will bring together the gaming, movie, TV, comic book, collectible and creative fandom communities.

Heroes World will launch in October later this year at Brussels Expo.

Informa reveals strong five-month underlying revenue growth

Informa has announced a five-month underlying growth of 6.4% in its latest AGM trading update.

This shows the organizer’s growing strength and reconfirms full-year earnings guidance.

The weighted average is based on the combined growth of B2B live events (7.6%) and academic markets (5.5%).

Stephen A. Carter, group chief executive of Informa, said: “The depth and breadth of Informa’s portfolio, both geographically and by market category, continues to deliver growth, international expansion and product and brand innovation.”

These statistics show strong growth in Greater China, the Americas, Europe, IMEA and ASEAN prior to the situation in Iran.

Informa will provide updates on how growth in markets directly affected by the conflict has been impacted in its interim results.

The B2B organizer indicated that it is on track for even stronger growth in 2027.

“The partnership with -45dB underscores DWTC’s commitment to elevating the quality of engagement within our venues, while embedding sustainability more meaningfully into the event lifecycle.”

Some of the solutions -45dB will be rolling out include – meeting pods and flexible spaces that can be converted into full conference rooms designed to reduce up to forty-five decibels of sound.

The specialist will work directly with organizers and exhibitors to install the solutions required for each event under the agreement.

These will be installed at both the Dubai Exhibition Centre and Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
