
ATM 2026 rescheduled amid safety concerns
Leading organizer RX has announced the rescheduling of Arabian Travel Market 2026.
The show has been moved from May to August, where Dubai World Trade Centre will remain the host venue.
This move comes amid concerns over the safety of visitors and partners.

RX reschedules Arabian Travel Market 2026 for August
RX has confirmed that ATM 2026 has been rescheduled from May to August.
This move was made to prioritize the safety of visitors, sponsors and partners of the show.
RX believes this will also give the members of the global travel and tourism community more flexibility and confidence to attend.
Danielle Curtis, exhibition director of Arabian Travel Market, said: “The safety and well-being of our customers, partners and colleagues remains our highest priority and the decision to reschedule ATM 2026 to August reflects our commitment to ensuring that everyone can participate at this important industry gathering.”
ATM has long served the global travel and tourism sector with this year’s being the 33rd edition of the show.
The event’s focus is to provide a platform for industry leaders and suppliers to connect, share and collaborate.
Dubai World Trade Centre remains the host venue for the show – which will now take place from the 17th to 20th of August.
CloserStill Media launches Data Center Americas
CloserStill Media has announced aexpansin on of its leading data event series.
Data Center Americas is being launched to focus on the US data and digital infrastructure sector.
The inaugural event will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Gareth Bowhill, CEO of CloserStill Media, said: “The launch of Data Center Americas is a major milestone for CloserStill and our globally renowned data center event series.
“Building on our proven track record of delivering leading technology events worldwide, this expansion strengthens our international portfolio whilst building on the momentum we’ve created in North America through our recent partnerships with Ai4 and Billington CyberSecurity.”
This first edition of Data Center Americas is expected to draw more than 3,000 attendees.
The US accounts for a large share of global data center capacity and is projected to exceed $600 billion in capital expenditure this year.
This event will serve as a platform for senior decision-makers to shape the next phase of digital infrastructure investment.
Yancy Weinrich, US president of CloserStill Media, added: “Data Center Americas is a significant addition to our US portfolio and reflects the critical importance of the US market to the digital infrastructure community.
“CloserStill operates the largest data center events in the world and we’re bringing that proven model to North America.”
Messe Frankfurt and IMEX extend their collaboration agreement by five years
Messe Frankfurt and IMEX have extended their long-term partnership.
The venue has been the host of IMEX Frankfurt since it’s inception.
This agreement will see the world’s leading trade continue to be hosted there until 2030.
Mark Mulligan, IMEX’s director of operations, said: “Frankfurt is where the IMEX story began with the launch of our very first show more than 20 years ago.
“By working closely with the Messe Frankfurt team and our other partners across the city, we’ve strengthened the show‘s role as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration and positive impact across our sector.”
IMEX Frankfurt 2025 edition drew 13,000+ global visitors including – 4,000 buyers and 2,900 exhibitors.
The show’s theme is ‘Design Matters‘ which is in line with the city’s status as World Design Capital 2026.
This year’s edition of IMEX Frankfurt will take place from May 19 to May 21.
