The two organizations have entered into a strategic partnership to bring the Professional Woodworking Expo to the NEC Birmingham.

This will be co-located with both InstallerSHOW 2026 and the Painting & Decorating Show.

Mike Costain, managing director of Nineteen Group, said: “This co-location opens up exciting opportunities for Professional Woodworking exhibitors to connect with the major brands and decision makers already committed to attending InstallerSHOW.”

These three events will create a powerful platform for professionals from the interiors, fit-out and construction industry.

This co-location will enable the Professional Woodworking Expo to grow and diversify its audience.

Nineteen Group also sees this move as reaffirming its commitment to support construction and interior supply chains through connected platforms.

David Todd, event director at Montgomery Group, added: “We’re delighted to be working with Nineteen Group on the next chapter of Professional Woodworking Expo.

“Co-locating the event with InstallerSHOW and the Painting & Decorating Show reflects how the sector is evolving, bringing together woodworking, installation and finishing in a way that mirrors real-world project delivery.”

Retromobile sees record-breaking attendance at its 50th edition

Retromobile celebrated its 50th anniversary edition this week and saw a record number of attendees.

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles opened its doors to 181,500 visitors – a 24% increase compared to 2025.

The event sees this as a reaffirmation of its position as the world’s leading classic car show.

Romain Grabowski, director of Retromobile, said: “This edition presented a triple challenge: to celebrate Retromobile’s 50th anniversary in style, to integrate our new partner Gooding Christie’s and to launch a new co-located event, the Ultimate Supercar Garage.

“The record attendance and the amount of transactions carried out throughout the week are proof that these challenges were successfully met.”

The Ultimate Supercar Garage also held its inaugural edition alongside Retromobile.

These two events together created a platform for professionals from both the classic and modern supercar sectors.

63,450 visitors attended the Ultimate Supercar Garage – which the event sees as a great success for the first show.
