
IMEX America kick-off: What’s new for 2025?
Eventprofs are winding up for one of the most important business tradeshows of the year as IMEX America gets set to open its doors.
This year’s edition will the largest for floor space to date, with many exhibitors expanding booth space thanks to strong forecasts for attendee interest.
Thousands are expected to descend on Las Vegas this week to take part in the major gathering, so we’re putting it under the spotlight for this Week in Events. Here’s what we’ll cover:

High expectations lead to largest floor space ever for IMEX America
One of the biggest highlights of the year for the events business begins this week.
Over 3,500 exhibiting companies from across the globe are participating in this years show.
Many have increased booth sizes in anticipation of strong interest from attendees, resulting in the largest edition yet in terms of floor space.
Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX, said: “The investment and innovation we’re seeing from exhibitors is a clear and welcome sign of strong momentum across the sector.

The event is expected to highlight innovation and immersive experiences from exhibitors.
Participants anticipate industry-altering announcements including – new research, projects and partnerships.
Meanwhile, ExpoPlatform has concentrated on making networking smoother and smarter at the event in its role as official technology partner.
First up – profile sharing. New one-click profile sharing and bulk exports mean exhibitors can promote their teams effortlessly.
Re-engineered meeting requests have also been introduced to mean no more dead ends – just real-time availability and instant booking.

ExpoPlatform named official tech partner for further three years
IMEX has extended its partnership with ExpoPlatform as the official event tech provider for another three years.
The announcement comes after the two companies successfully collaborated on a total of six events across IMEX America and IMEX Frankfurt since the partnership began in 2023.
The close collaboration and continued innovation has helped to elevate the customer experience, as Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX Group, explains: “Our partnership with ExpoPlatform is a key part of our strategic focus on enhancing the show experience.
“New features added to the app – including free lead scanning – and a more intuitive web platform have all helped to support connections between buyers and exhibitors as well as remove friction points across both of our shows. The 2024 edition of IMEX America saw 15,873 total participants and 85,000 meetings booked.
The 2025 edition of IMEX Frankfurt saw 13,335 total participants and 67,000 meetings booked.
