ExpoPlatform appoints New Business Director

Event technology provider ExpoPlatform has appointed a business development specialist in its latest bid to capitalise on a growing customer base.

A seasoned professional with a zeal for entrepreneurship, Ian Carpenter has spearheaded the business development and sales growth strategies for organisations and large-scale events. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in executing the full sales pipeline, negotiating contracts and securing partnership agreements with different venues, vendors and business partners.

Ian was most recently in charge of the sales and revenue generation for MAD//Fest, the UK’s leading advertising and marketing tech festival. Prior to that, he was the founder and director of London Brunch Fest, where he oversaw all aspects of business development, including market research, sponsorship sales, operations and finance, growing the festival into a six-figure business in two years.

He also developed and implemented a comprehensive marketing campaign that resulted in more than 4,000 festival attendees, substantial PR coverage and strong brand recognition within the London food and drink industry.

As New Business Director, Ian will lead the global sales team to drive new market opportunities, infuse innovative thinking throughout all client engagement and scale up ExpoPlatform’s sales, customer success and account management functions.
