UFI makes ExpoPlatform its official matchmaking partner
UFI connections will be turbocharged through a new official partnership with ExpoPlatform at its upcoming European Conference.
The global association of the exhibition industry will utilize the leading event tech provider’s Speed Networking solution at the gathering in Zurich in June.
Professionals from across the region will use the tool to benefit from more seamless and streamlined connections, with AI-powered matchmaking enabling more focused meetings.
Tanya Pinchuk, CEO of ExpoPlatform, said: “ExpoPlatform is delighted to be working with UFI as the official technology partner for speed networking.
“We are determined to heighten the event experience through this feature, which will empower delegates to forge meaningful connections effortlessly.
“Team ExpoPlatform is looking forward to a successful partnership with UFI.”
Nick Dugdale-Moore, UFI Regional Director Europe, said: “Matchmaking sessions are hard to perfect. Even with quality delegates, a great setting, good organization – late cancellations and other eventualities often put a spanner in the works.
“So we are trying a new approach this year, and I’m very excited to see it in action – I’m hoping it will be our best matchmaking yet.”
The Speed Networking feature facilitates quick, sequential one-to-one meetings for attendees.
It is organized and managed through a backend system which doesn’t require participants to use an app.
This includes check-in functionality, participant management, meeting scheduling through a matchmaking algorithm as well as notifications about scheduled meetings.
UFI’s European Conference will be in Zurich, Switzerland between June 11 and 13, and will bring together around 300 senior exhibition industry professionals from across Europe and beyond.
It is open to all exhibition professionals and is the most important annual gathering of industry leaders in the region. Registration is still open at www.ufieurope,org
